It is the amino acid that is directly linked to the risk of having heart disease and arthritis as well. The C-reactive protein is also one of the signs of inflammation and Vitamin B is capable of lowering the levels. It will naturally reduce the risk of developing heart disease. One can suffer from nerve damage if not taken Vitamin B12 properly.

What to consume?

Beef liver is one of the food items that contain all three vitamins. Red meat, fish, and poultry are packed with Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12. Milk and its products will help in boosting Vitamin B12 along with that beans, nuts as well as peas contain Vitamin B6. All these vitamins can be easily added to breakfast cereals and bread can be an extra option for folic acid.

3. Vitamin C

It is one of the antioxidants that helps in getting rid of free radicals that are capable of damaging the cells and tissues as well. Regulating fruits and vegetables rich in Vitamin C will lower the chances of having heart disease. Studies have also shown that just like Vitamin B Vitamin C is also helpful in lowering the levels of C-reactive protein.

Citrus fruits like oranges, tangerines, and grapefruits are packed with Vitamin C along with that bell peppers, Brussels and broccoli are also a great option. Berries and leafy greens are great sources of Vitamin C.

4. Vitamin D

Deficiency of Vitamin D is directly linked to inflammatory diseases including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and lupus. According to some lab tests, it shows that low levels of vitamins are directly related to an anti-inflammatory effect on the cells. This results in inflammation and pain in the affected part of the body.

There are only some foods that contain Vitamin D and sunlight is one of the options. It is also available in liver, fatty fish, and egg yolks. Milk is also one of the options for getting Vitamin D.

5. Vitamin E

It is also another antioxidant that also contains anti-inflammatory properties. According to some studies, it is proven that low levels of Vitamin E put you at greater risk of having Alzheimer’s disease. Some experts also say that it’s better to take Vitamin E on a regular basis, especially recommended to young people.

What to consume?

To consume Vitamin E one can take almonds, sunflower seeds, and also oils made out of them. Green leafy vegetables are also one of the great options.

6. Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that has a good effect on bone and cardiovascular health as well. According to some reports of the journal, metabolism shows that Vitamin K is helpful in reducing inflammation and also effective in blood clots. It is recommended for adults to take 90-120 micrograms of Vitamin K daily

What to consume?

Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, collards, and chards are some of the good sources as well.  Brussel sprouts and broccoli are also very good.
